The re-executable publication of the future includes:

• Words, as usual

But also, the:

• Data
• Workflow Specification
• Execution Environment Specification
• Complete Results as supplementary files.

In other words, given the data, workflow specification and execution environment specification, a third party can generate (and validate) the exact results independently.

Key Points

• We want the user to be introduced to topics in reproducibilty in order to prepare them for the types of items that will be presented in the training materials.
